Driving in Barcelona means knowing the environmental rules. Here is how to reach our parking while complying with the Low Emission Zone.
The Low Emission Zone (LEZ) is an area of over 95 km2 that restricts the most polluting vehicles to improve air quality in the city and its metropolitan area.
To drive in Barcelona without restrictions during LEZ hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 20:00), your vehicle needs a DGT environmental label (Cero, ECO, C or B).
If you visit Barcelona with a foreign-plated car, you must register your vehicle on the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB) website before entering the city.
Parking Marplan is inside the LEZ. If your vehicle has the right label or authorisation, you can access without problems. Otherwise, plan your arrival outside LEZ hours (nights or weekends).
